Computer Requirements
Fast Facts
• Internet access may be obtained through most public libraries
• Computers are very important in today's pharmacy
• It is important that the pharmacy technician be able to use computers efficiently
• Our course uses the internet for materials and communication

Students will need to have access to the internet to complete our course. Through the internet you will be able to:
- use the discussion board to send messages to other students
- use the message board to receive important messages from your instructor and our home office
- use the on-line practice materials to study for the certification examination
If you do not have a computer of your own, you may be able to access the internet through computers located in places like the public library, Kinko's copy centers, or internet cafes.
Since relatively all pharmacy employers require computer skills, it is highly recommended that the students obtain training on the basic operation of computers if they are deficient.
